About Green Frog Flower Farms

Hello flower friends,

My name is  Lella from a small town in Southern Arizona. I am starting a flower farm called "Green Frog Flower Farms", offering fresh cut flowers to the local community and surrounding areas.

My journey began as a child in Germany. 

I would go to my grandparents’ country house which was surrounded by dairy farms and pastures. My grandmother loved to plant Pansies all over her yard. I wanted to pick them but I was not allowed to. Sitting on the wall, gazing at my favorite flowers (Pansy, Viola x wittrockiana), I would admire them, with their beautiful smiling faces, watching us all the time.  Not being allowed to pick my favorite flower, I would go into the pastures and pick wildflowers. My grandma would ask, “why you bringing me weeds?” I would tell her, “they are beautiful”, so she would let me put them in canning jars all over her house. 

This is what cultivated my love for  flowers!
